I don't know about you but I'm really appreciating the few sunny days that we're having at the moment. I was rather hoping for a little more sunshine over the school holidays as it all felt a bit damp and grey to me. Have you managed to get away or is your holiday scheduled for a little later in the year? My daughter and I went to visit relatives in the Outer Hebrides - that was damp and grey too - though it doesn't seem to bother me so much up there; probably because of the vast expanse of cheerful heather and dramatic mountainous skyline.
Whilst I was away I had a little time to reflect on my life and I've made some important, if difficult decisions. If you've visited the clinic in the last twelve months, you may know that I've been nursing an RSI to my right hand which has developed as a result of clamping the colonic hose for fifteen years! I've reduced my hours in the hope that it would heal it but alas it flares up again as soon as I see a few clients in succession. As I don't want to find myself without a functioning opposable digit in my later life, it's become apparent that I must make changes.
Somewhat appropriately and in accordance with the energy of the Autumn season which is now upon us, I've decided that it is time for me to do my own "letting go". And so it is with very mixed feelings that I've decided to stop working as a Colon Hydrotherapist. I will be hanging up my hose at the end of January 2020, so if you've been thinking, "you know I ought to book that appointment with Katherine" can I urge you to take action!
As you can imagine it is not an easy decision to make. I've immensely enjoyed my colonic practice and consider myself privileged to have been able to work with so many amazing people. It really has been a wonderful fifteen years and I am, and always will be, extremely grateful to each and every one of my lovely clients for what we have shared in those somewhat unusual circumstances!
The Healthy Gut Clinic as you know it will still be here and Lotus Finch, my highly esteemed colonic hydrotherapist colleague, is excited to be working with my colonic clients, so there's no need to worry that your needs will not be met. Lotus will also be offering Saturday appointments for those who can't make it during the weekdays, starting at the end of September. I cannot say enough good things about Lotus and I've had some amazing feedback about her wonderful bedside manner and therapeutic approach. Keep in mind that she also offers Abdominal Massage which yields extra benefits in the efficiency of the colonic treatment.
I will still be running the business, writing these newsletters and offering other services from the clinic such as PSYCH-K®️ sessions, and I've got something new and exciting up my sleeve, which I'll be sharing with you in my next newsletter. It's a 21 day Gut Microbiome Reset Programme. I completed the programme myself recently and felt enormous benefits which I'm continuing to enjoy. You might have seen my Vlog on our Facebook page recently but if not, check it out here: https://www.facebook.com/healthypoo. If you can't wait for the next newsletter and want to find out more about this, please email me [email protected]
Everything else will remain the same up until the end of January 2020 - I'm really just giving you plenty of warning in case you've been thinking about making an appointment with me but just haven't quite got around to it. Here's a link to our booking page to make things easy for you:
